C.D.A.V. General Information.
Meetings:
• C.D.A.V. General meetings are held on the fourth Saturday of alternate
months from February through to October. The meetings open at
10.00am during time-out from the workshop held on that day. Members
not attending the workshop are most welcome at the General meeting
and have been asked for a $2.50 contribution to the hire and general
running of the Association.

• The Annual General Meeting is held at 1.30pm on the fourth Saturday
in October, with an election of committee members held every two
years. The next election will be 2010.

Membership Fees:
• Annual fees are due at the end of the calendar year, but a discounted fee
applies if paid by November 30th• For the discount to apply, the monies
paid must be in the hands of the Membership treasurer by this date. The
current annual full membership is $30.00 with a $10 discount for early
payment.
• The annual junior membership is $22.00 with the same discount for
early payment.
• The renewal invoice is included with the October-December edition of
Lets Decorate.

New Membership:
• The cost of new membership is currently $38.00 for adults and $27.50
for juniors. This price includes a C.D.A.V. membership badge.

Lets Decorate Magazine:
• Five copies of Lets Decorate are posted to financial members each year
and include notice of additional meetings and 'Special Events' held
during the year, as well as full details of Melbourne and Country
Branch meetings. The magazine is also exchanged on a reciprocal basis
with like associations both nationally and internationally.

Group Public Liability Insurance:
• A Group Public Liability Insurance Policy is offered to all financial
C.D.A.V. members. The cost is $42.00 per person and is renewable in
October of each year, regardless of when joined. The cover is $10,000,000
and the policy covers food products liability.

Advertising:
• Members wishing to advertise their products or classes in Lets Decorate
may apply in writing or email to the Editor. The cost of advertising is
available on request. Advertising may be on a one time only or yearly
basis.
